The Food and Drug Administration is yet another food safety agency of the government that strictly inspects the food products, cosmetics, medical devices, electronic equipment, pharmaceuticals, tobacco, vaccines etc. FDA is applicable for any related products that are manufactured and distributed inside the USA.

Who are eligible for FDA Certification

Only the products that are labeled as safe by the FDA are allowed to enter the US market. FDA certification is permitted only to domestic organisations. FDA certification of the products to be exported from the USA are highly in demand and is accepted worldwide. In most cases buyers ask for the FDA certificate as the agency does not permit any kind of commercialisation using their logo. FDA allows for a one year validity and strictly keeps the confidentiality of their registrants.

FDA doesn’t certify just any products but for newly made or developed medical devices and drugs, they only approve the new inventions in the field
