CE MARKING

If you see CE marking or the capital letters CE in any of the products you bought, that indicates it comes from the European Economic Area. Any products that have been produced in or out of the EEA and are sold within or outside but are made by the EU should be having CE marking.

Any products such as electronics, toys, machines etc could obtain the CE mark only if it is perfectly fitted in the requirements.

Is CE Marking Mandatory?
If Not, How it Benefits

Even Though such a certification increases the confidence of the buyer towards the seller and on their products it is not necessarily to be safely assured by the government. The CE marked products would be having the legal qualification to be sold in the European Union. Those products that do not meet the complete requirements of EEA guidelines do not need to fix the symbol. The decision to fix the CE symbol is completely optional and is upon the owner but by doing so, they are adding an extra pinch of trust on the customers as they tend to believe more in the quality of a CE specified product.
